Unable to restore apps after restore

Hi guys,

Just messing with my iphone 3g 3.1.3 which was jailbroken with spirit however after I decided to do a restore, the non purchased apps will not sync back onto the phone when backing up or synching even after re-jailbreaking.

I've tried deleting them from the apps in itunes and then replacing them back there and re-synching but still get an error message saying they can't be synched.

Does anybody have any suggestions? Would putting them on the phone with ssh do the job, if so where do i drop the apps?

Any advice appreciated.
