Garmin 200 Nuvi Maps

Hi Folks

Just got a message telling me to update my maps went to the garmin site and they are after �100 for the pleasure so I have turned to the good folks on here to help out if you can.

So basically I am after some links or a pointer in the correct direction to where I can get them a bit cheaper or free.

Don't know if it will work on your unit, but here's a copy of an unlocked Garmin map of UK & RoI v2010.31 released Feb 2010 :-

would the map work on a nuvi 710,currently have 09 loaded ??
Have burned an image to disk, how would it be installed ??
My nuvi keeps telling me a new version is available to purchase, but I'm not paying their price..............

Don't know sorry - I've got it working on with Garmin XT on my mobile phone, but no idea how to install it on a Garmin unit.

Whacked this onto my nokia (garmin xt), works no probs, happy days because it was crying for an update!

if you want to have the europe maps on it - it weighs in at nearly 2gig

if your unit has a sd slot - slip a card in so far have tried a 2gig one in a nuvi 205w - on the card create a folder and call it garmin and drop the image inside that - then switch on your unit and explore map then click on map info there you should be able to see your maps
