Having said all of that, you should respond to the offer when you can dav, I doubt Mac will keep in on the table forever.

Just for the record i was asking the questions to help me make up my mind as i am still not sure if i can tear myself from my iphone to something of an unknown for me....!

I would be interested to see what Dav makes of this, and to be honest i was hoping to haggle the price a bit as well....!

I see both your points. I didn't post it to undermine or anything malicious. I just posted it spontaneously without thinking. I apologise to those that took it the wrong way. The info was meant to help. A Desire for �285 with no tie in is a fantastic price. The ops price is fair too.

The ops phone is new and of a very, very similar price to the info I posted so at the time saw no harm as no harm was intended. Had the ops phone been months old and the same price as in the info I posted I would definitely not have posted it here. Once again, my apologies, no harm was meant by it.

Get one Mac (weird, my name's Mac too) you won't regret it, I had iPhones from just after the USA launch but got my desire about a Month ago, it's grrrrrrrrreat!

sorry about not responding my computer is playing up and i have been trying to fix it yes the phone is still up for sale i dont have paper work cos got it from ebay have a paypal invoice if that helps as you will have if you pay
