    Default just had vermin fitted?

we have just had v fitted again (looooooong story) but we still had our old v+ box, so i thought it would be a simple matter of disdonnecting the new one and reconnecting the old v+ box, it works sort of, but i cant record any thing, is sthere any thing i can do to get the v+ working or do i need to get them back out and work there magic?

    thanks in advance

I'm not 100% but I think your card/account has to be enabled for V+ services. When I swapped over from a standard box to V+ I seem to remember the engineer checking signal settings on the box before contacting VM helpdesk to activate it.

Sorry to hijack, but I have a query along the same lines.

I currently have 2 separate addresses, each with virgin installed, could I take a box from one address and use it at the other as an additional box?

So long as they are both in the same NetID area.

    Nearby basically!

No harm to try it so...

And in response to the OP, cards are paired to the box. So if your old box still has an active card in it, then yeah. If not and you put a no-paired card in it, you'll only get freeview and possibly no V+ functions.
