Everyone knows about our favorite appstore alternative, but there are others out there (especially for when appulous is down ). My contenders:

i'll make a image tutorial for iPhone cake

    starting from this page:

[Only registered and activated users can see links. ]

p.s. i use firefox's ubiquity extension for translation (and lots more):
just highlight the text you want translated
    ctrl+space (to bring ubiquity up)
type 'tr' > and it auto translates. hit enter if you want the translation to actually appear on the page.

No you need an IPA installer. AppCake allows you to go to these sites and download so try searching for that.

I know this is an old thread, but just wanna add. Is this jailbreak only ? Also does anyone still use tongbu these days? Since the latest ios update, it doesn't seem to work anymore :'(

I'm not sure if you can install IPAs without a jailbreak unless they are signed. Not sure what that process would be as I stay jailbroken but I know as part of my JB I have my Yalu app signed automatically every 7 days so if my phone were to reboot I can JB without the need of a PC to sign and sideload the IPA.

Most software that let you without jb cost money. Bc it wouldn't make sense for them to spend money on a developer account just so they can self sign and distribute free apps. Lol tongbu is an exception but apple gets tighter with sevurity with each ios update.

I think you can sign apps for 7 days with a normal Apple account, might not be much use to you though. Not sure Ext3nder will work with non-JB to automatically resign, wasn't sure if it was available outside of Cydia.

Signing is only required for the actual installation i think otherwise not much use
