Selling Two new remote controls for PC/Laptop/HTPC

Picked these up and never used, both of them are brand new and require no drivers. There are applications available that will allow you to change the mapping for the buttons on each one, however the volume, play/pause, stop etc work as standard on both just like hotkeys on keyboard.

HP Remote Control with USB Receiver... £7 Posted.

Silver unbranded remote control with USB receiver... £5 Posted.

Happy with PayPal Gift or Bank Transfer.

You say "no drivers required", am I right in thinking that these are both Microsoft Media Centre compatible clones ? I've got a friend who's after one for his Revo/Boxee machine. If they're compatible, I'll make sure he's still in need and grab one for him

Yip, the HP one is designed specifically for Windows Media Centre IMO. The silver one will still work with WMC but also gives cursor control.

Any idea if either will work under Linux? Getting an Acer Revo, and will probably be putting Ubuntu 10.04 on with XBMC, and could do with a remote for ease.

Gutted I didn't see this earlier, I'd have had the HP one!
I'll take the other one if Broona or Desc aren't interested.

You're the first to say you'll have it mate, so feel free, tempted but unsure as to whether it'll work anyway.

Desc, are you interested in the silver one for your mate? If not, it's yours funkyg.

(I guess, as he said he'll take it for his mate if he wants it I'm following the rules - correct me if I'm wrong)

Fair do's Chris, that's why I mentioned them. Didn't want to step on anyone's toes. Cheers to broona, let's see what desc's mate says.

Sorry Chris, my m8 is being a complete gimp and not giving me a definite answer. If funky wants him let him have it otherwise I'll take it (and stick it in the cupboard as a spare if needs be)
