Default Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Sent from my device that I think makes me look wealthy using a pointless app because the browser in it is too shit to view this website properly.

Seriously guys, can you not turn that message off? Or just use DF properly with the browser if you really must use it when away from your PC?

Opera Mini in my ancient original model G1 impish phone can display any website on my rural non-3G internet, wtf do you need an app for?

same here. I used tapatalk for a week or so and went back to safari. Not everything's in there and when I'm using a device that's capable of running the whole site then I want to use the whole site.

I've got it installed though, I reckon it'll be useful if im ever stuck somewhere with only gprs for any length of time.

I can't see the problem and in fact will make sure it is activated next time I am browsing via my iPhone so you all know I have one and have paid for the app.

The sig is a bit ghey though.
The only time a 'device sig' is any good is in an email to make it obvious to someone you're not in the office/tell if someone is not in the office. And even that is open to abuse..
Ironic that an app designed to debloat and improve the forum experience is adding loads of bloaty extra shit to it.

I think if it is possible to turn off the signature then people who don't turn it off are doing the internet equivalent of walking around with massive price tags still on their clothes.

Agree with you spot on, I think I may have given you k+ for when you manually addedd something like "Sent from my computer using a keyboard". I reckon we should all do the same.

Saying that though, I'm guessing the reason is pretty obvious, whoever made the program left the sig on by default as an advert. Still find it annoying though.

I used to have "Sent from the pub" on my windows mobile phone till my boss told me off.

It's just one line of plain text.

Lol sig file, we have the internet on computers now you know ~/.sig is such a lovely way to do it, pity apps are all full of nonsense now and don't allow that simplicity.

It's one line on every post, and most iPhone posts are one line due to the drawn on keyboard. It would probably take up about quarter of the screen on a phone depending on your eyesight and zoom level.

I'm just a grumpy bastard and grudge the milliseconds it takes to realise it's just a line of advertising and not something I'd want to read, even though it is next to what you normally read and still in the same font.
