How to Uninstall Windows 7 Service Pack 1 (SP1) Beta

Windows 7 Service Pack 1 (SP1) Beta adds a time-bomb with an expiration date of June 30, 2011 to your Windows 7. You will be reminded starting on March 30, 2011 about the expiration date, but you will be able to use your system untill June 29, 2011. After this date, you will need to either upgrade to the final version of SP1 (when released) or uninstall the Beta version of SP1 to be able to use your Windows 7 again.

This tutorial will show you how to uninstall the Windows 7 Service Pack 1 (SP1) Beta in case you have issues with running the SP1 beta, or before the SP1 beta expires.

Note

Here's How:
1. Open the [Only registered and activated users can see links. ], and click on Programs and Features.

2. Click on the [Only registered and activated users can see links. ] in the left pane. (see screenshot below)

3. Click on Service Pack for Microsoft Windows (KB976932) to uninstall. (see screenshot below)
NOTE: You could also select Service Pack for Microsoft Windows (KB976932) and click on the "Uninstall" button on the toolbar, or right click on Service Pack for Microsoft Windows (KB976932) and click on "Uninstall".

4. Click on Yes. (see screenshot below)

5. Windows 7 Service Pack 1 (SP1) Beta will now start uninstalling. It will take a bit to complete, and will require restarting your computer to finish.
