    You think about it, its prolly not that hard to implement something like this although a net connection will be required.
    You can get plenty of phones/apps that will listen to a few seconds of music and come back with a name and artist. Do the same for a movie and if that movie is not released in the country you are viewing then the machine automatilcally stops playback. However the easy way around that would be to disconnect the router before watching any film. As soon as this cinavia shit becomes mainstream I can see standalone media centers such as popcorn hours taking off.
