as per the title whats your favourite game?

personally I like puzzle games and in the past I would have said the brain training ones but im loving the professor layton series and would recommend it to anyone, you can even play one of the puzzles online if you feel like it

Mario cart - one of the more defining games for the DS oldie but keep on going back to play.

Henry Hatsworth in the Puzzling Adventure - strangely addictive
New Super Mario Bros - classic
and the Professor Layton games - some great puzzles

If you like old skool space invaders games then Geomerty Wars is a modern version which is a 9 out of 10 for me.

my god if you get hooked on the 3D one your life outside of playing games will suffer, my GF got so pissed off with me cos I was playing it every time she turned her back and this went on for the best part of a year until Id done all 300 puzzles. I'm still downloading the DLC too, plus I have the Japanese, USA and UK versions of the rom on my Acekard as each has different DLC (about 300 puzzles each!)

Loved Leyton games. If you like a good puzzle have to try Scribblenauts - really enjoyed that too

picross and picross 3d for me too, played Jewel Master Cradle of Rome and Jewel Master Cradle of Egypt aswell which are annoyingly addictive and simple.

Theme Park is genius. It's pretty much the same game that i wasted days of my life playing in the early 90s.
