get yourself one of these, and a bottle of something strong to ease the pain.

An old mate of mine did it when he had a heart with a lasses name on his arm, then they broke up!

Can you not speak to a tattooist about having a design done over it that will cover him up?

Surely the constant friction from rubbing it is making it fade. I would do what russbeer suggested quick and cheap.

Had about 16 sessions now. The chap thinks his laser has done all it can. He wants me to go back in September to see him, he will decide then if he is going to continue or send me to someone with a laser which has '11' settings.

Added an image as of this morning

Not a bad end result tbh.

how much did it cost to date? Versus the cost of the tat in the first place...

£17 tat, roughly £1000 to get to this stage.
Also had 6 sessions on a back one too in that, the guy did both in one session.

My friend had his removed in 3 sessions. What laser does your guy use? If you know.

Wow 1000... I might have considered going over it with something else, rather than remove it.

I've started to go to the Royal Free Hospital to get mine removed. £80 quid a session for the first 6 and then it drops down to £60 quid a go. I'm under the impression that doctors have access to better equipment than your back street tattoo shop.

    For people that are interested

The doctor in there is great. Had my first session two weeks ago, hurts like fuck but you forget about the pain quickly enough.
