Default Best way to transfer contacts to Iphone 4?

Well I'm about to get my first iphone tomorrow (i know im a bit behind!) i've already jailbroken a few so I'm good with that but I was wondering what the best way is to transfer the contacts that are stored on my old phone. My old phone can sync the contacts with outlook, is this possible with the iphone?

save them to your sim car then put it in your iphone and go to phone settings and transfer them from your card to fone,

    settings
    mail,contacts and calendar
then scroll to the bottom and import sim contacts

I don't and have never used outlook. iPhone syncs fine with windows contacts.

Ok thanks everyone, I'll sync it with outlook as I have multiple numbers and address's on some contacts and if i transfer to sim I think I'll loose that info.
