Quit screen keeps flashing on?

Hi All,

A friend has just given me a psp to look at - symptoms are as in title.
The 'Do you want to quit' message keeps popping up and going off on it's own.
It does it with UMD's and games off the memory stick
The firmware is a 5.50 Gen D3 and its a slim

Any ideas?

Chances are it's the home button that's had it mate

take the face plate off and see if it still does it, if it does then get a new home button bar not much money from ebay

i'll have a dig about tomorrow as have a load of psp spares sitting about if i find one you can have it
