I have been told it is Open Platform (Funcard) that was in the box so there must be a file or two knockin about out there

well if you can get it then great ! but unless you have the hex or are able to read a protected funcard4 then you will have to wait !
I believe that ppl who are very good at these sort of things are not far from producing their own hex that will work( providing you have a box id etc)
Just be patient

If you have the Libdebug software then all you need to do is pull the red jumper for a few seconds, use libdebug to rewrite the Network ID, go to the engineers screen and set the default frequency and thew pin should be displayed on page one as 0000, edit that with the remote to anything you want and store with the TV button.

OK here's the situation. I have a ntl Di-4001 box which is connected to be cablke internet supply. I have no card or subscription but I get free to view channels no probs so I think the box is good. Is there any chance I can indulge in this hack with my current set up, and if so where would I have to go and how much would I have to pay to get the box "seen to"
Any help much appreciated

No its a scart to serial adaptor, pace made these for developers. It looked fairly simple from what I can remember (only a few components, maybe an IC), shame I don't have access to them anymore.Originally posted by tango man
