360 slim help

Hi all , just bought the new 4 gb slim and want to upgrade the storage , Ive spotted the expansion slot on the side , Is it as simple as plugging in a brand new hdd and away you go or would somethin have to be loaded on the hdd before installation , Im totally in the dark any help appreciated

HDD needs to be flashed with hddhackr.

a compatible drive ? isnt any 250g 5400spin hdd any good then , i got a couple b.n.i.b. ? dont mind if i got to invest though

Nah, has to be compatible with HDDhackr, the 360 isn't as 'open' with HDDs like the Ps3.

Probably not much use to you, but you can put any 360 HDD in the slot, after taking it out of the casing.

I currently have an old 20GB in my Forza box.
