PM being filtered?

Can anyone tell me why PMs are having URLs filtered out with ****?

I understand this on the open board, but surely PMs are erm..well "private"?

If you click on the link it tracks back to DF but if you manually input the http it does not.

Think about the link and what it links to? There are a few sites that are autocensored as they led to competitors of Neo. You r PM is private, do you think all we do all day is read the stuff that goes between you lot?

Haha not at all mate, just never had a PM on any board I use be filtered before, I thought that was the whole idea of a "private" message.

The URL censored I don't think is a direct competitor to Neo, it's a place that fixes 360's and afaik, neo only sells the kits to repair them yourself.

The URL was removed from the original thread but people are PMing me about it, and now it's being filtered there too...

Certain URLs are blocked for various reasons. If the URL was removed from thread then it probably got filtered out too.

No I added the site to the censored words as you had posted it several times not just the one I had spotted so could not be bothered to go through and edit each post the same way you could not be bothered to abide by the forum rules.

Edit: Removed all references from the original thread so you should not be bothered by PM's asking now.
