    Help NZB Progs

Any ideas for decent usenet/NZB clients for the Mac?

Used Grabit for years on Windows and would love something similar.

    Thanks guys.

Just web based mate, at first I hated it but now they have skinned it and it just works really well without the need for many system resources. I use the plush skin and it's awesome!

I use SABnzbd+ on the Mac.

To be honest I think it's better (standard) than the Windows based application as it has a download monitor in the Notification Area.

Compatible with Growl too, which is another bonus.

It scans my watch folder every 5 seconds and downloads NZB's as they hit my Downloads folder... moments later they are in my NZB folder.

Personally I don't find anything the Mac has to offer a patch on Grabit. I have VMware on my Mac purely for Grabit

You tried the Plush skin? I find it's the better one to use.

not yet but I'm giving it a go after the motogp and f1 this afternoon, anything that makes it better to use is going to be an improvement for me, I just couldnt get "comfy" with it as it was.

I was the same, didn't like it until I used that particular skin.

Had never heard of Sick Beard before, had a look - it looks awesome!

Do all files need to be stored locally? I keep all mines on an ext hdd for example, to pass to mates etc.

Don't need to be on internal drive, I download all my stuff to an external drive.

Does take a bit of setting up, but works perfect once it is done.
