I doubt very much that they will be able to do it on the spot as it is an SL3 phone. They will probably take it somewhere that uses the DM3 box. This isnt going to be cheap to unlock though, probably anything up to £35.

You could possibly look into getting an unlocking sim too, thats if they have been update to do this model.

Thanks for the info, i got the phone for free and it's brand new so i'm not to bothered about having to pay £35- £40 to get it done
