lost all contacts

Just had my iphone back from apple after repair done a restore but lost all my phone numbers and photos.
Is there anyway i can get this info back????

An easy way to stop it happening in the future is to use a Gmail account to store your contacts. This can be synced on the fly meaning you can never lose them. They're accessible on the web shold you need them too.
