gave it nearly 2 weeks. really enjoyed the campaign, think it is the best one yet. Zombies is always loads of fun but for some reason i hate the online play. Think the game setup is good, all the variables are good but i just dont like playing it. so i traded it in at game earlier today. only got 25 notes for it but it can go towards somethig else on the xbox i might get more enjoyment from. Anyone else had similar feelings or got rid of it in some way

I done the same thing but after 3 days. Story was great but online sucked. I've went back to Modern Warfare 2 now till the next release.

I think the barrier to entry on-line in black ops is to high what's the point in putting you in games where you are at a massive disadvantage unless you put in loads of hours, now im no noob when it comes to COD but because I have a life whenever I do play on line I just get my arse handed to me because I don't have any gear or good guns to use..

i have to say i think its utter wank ! not a patch on mw2 ..i now only play the gun game and thats now pissing me off because they cannot work out how to spawn properly !! .... tha maps are far to small for the team games ....ebay very very soon i think

Yeah, mines just sitting there doing nothing, gone back to playing MW2 online now.
Gameplay is better, firing feels smoother and the Black Ops maps are far too complex, keep getting shot in the back!
Won't buy any more Treyarch COD titles.

I'm still unsure even though i've played it a fair amount......
I prefer tdm hardcore more than normal tdm and will probably give it a couple of more weeks for them to iron out all the creases like spawning and party joining etc.
If they don't get these things sorted i will also be trading it in

After being let down by multiplayer I also traded mine in a week ago. 37 quid in Argos at the time.

MP just doesn't feel 'right'. It reminds me of the early socom games and is less arcadey and fun than MW2. I just hope that Respawn Entertainment's new game will be an amazing title, both SP and MP.

I didn't have high expectations before the release due to treyarch being the developers like waw. I didn't even preorder it and walked into a Tesco on my journey on release day and picked up a copy with free points. Therefore these are the reasons why it has been fairly enjoyable for me. Can't see me putting in mw2 for some time as over 12 months of heavily playing it has worn thin.

I haven't had time to play through the single player campaign, or messed around with guns and kit, or even played any other online mode other than team death match. Hardcore is the way to go! I believe that there's always an anti-climax when something gets so hyped before release. I like to think that you've all been fooked by the hype and you've all shot your load and I'm still banging away!

Not quite the wow factor that COD4 / MW2 had but i think thats because Cod:World at war was so shite that it made MW2 seem a breath of fresh air.

There's more to it than MW2. Theater mode is a great addition, wager matches are fun and zombies are always great.

I agree with Danny boy.. they have updated server side alot.. like you cant play nuke town 4823908429034 times in a row now.. the version number at the top right always increases so you can tell when updates have been released.

I think its better then MW2.. noob tube heaven and steam rollers.. your all moaning cause your shit lol

well im now pissed off with it. Sick of spawning next to the enemy, sick of shooting first and getting hit markers only to still get killed and then looking at the kill cam which shows me not even shooting!!!

I did nuke town CTF and went 4 for 30. Yes 4 kills 30 deaths! Damn thats shit! next game was voted same map with same players and near enough same teams and yet i went 34 for 30. how the hell can you make that much of a differance?

I got spawn killed last night 3 times in a row. One of them i spawned at the side of a team mate who was being shot at. why??? it wasnt even a small map.

I have not had much freezing mate. The occasional freeze on a map load up yes.
