News Ecclestone injured in London mugging

    Ecclestone injured in London mugging

By Steven English Friday, November 26th 2010, 10:15 GMT

Bernie Ecclestone was mugged in central London on Wednesday evening, suffering a head injury in the attack.
The 80-year-old Formula 1 commerical boss and his girlfriend Fabiani Flosi were jumped by four men outside the Knightsbridge offices of his Formula One Holdings company.
Ecclestone was kicked and punched before his attackers escaped with around £200,000 worth of jewellery, according to media reports.
A police statement said he was taken to a west London hospital for treatment and was later discharged.
"There were no reports of any other injuries," it continued. "The items stolen are believed to be a quantity of jewellery."

Every billionaire should have the shit kicked out of him every now and again. It'll remind them they breath the same air as everyone else. Personally I think the muggers have performed a valuable public service.

one thing for sure, if you fuck with a billionaire youd better hide, cause id bet my house that hes gonna be spending large sums on getting those scrotes caught.

Shouldn't have had to be beaten, and it raises the question - why stroll around with £200k of jewellery on you or your trophy missus?! John Caudwell (ex owner of phones 4 u) who was hit with a crowbar when burglars broke into his house & stole money & jewellery said in an interview a couple of weeks ago he now can't see the sense in having loads of jewellery around the house.
No sympathy for the devil; keep that in mind. Buy the ticket, take the ride...

Whether he's a twat or not doing that to an 80 year old is bang out of order. Sure they could have mugged him easily enough without that level of violence.

Have you seen the pics of his mrs, I wonder what attracted her to an 80 year old billionaire....
