As for messi vs ronaldo i'd have to say messi because i prefer his style of playing to what ronaldo does, who will go down without a second thought if he is even slightly touched, while from what i've seen from messi (i won't say that he doesnt dive but no where near the extent that ronaldo does) he has the no how to take the ball past people with the need for it

Totally agree with this barring the non Utd fan part, although I know where your coming from.
I'm not a fan of Utd but I'm also not a bias supporter like a lot on here. I say it how it is whether I like it or not (I'd even go as far as say I bet no one one here even knows who i support)
Ronaldo Is the best player to grace the Premier League in my eyes and and currently the world.

Not a United bias thing they are close to being on a par with each other but i do tend to admire the fact that Messi tends to try and stay on his feet as much as possible and that edges it for me.

People saying Messi couldn't hack the prem are just guessing. Also anyone saying "the spanish league is shite look at Forlan doing well over there" wants to consider Torres was no great shakes when playing in Spain (ask BBK) came over here and is now regarded as one of the worlds best,so from a spanish standpoint they could say our league is shite.
