Default DF Sports Personality of the Year

So, the BBC nominations for Sports Personality have been announced. Just wondering - as usual - who will be voting for whom this year? Will be interesting to know why you pick who you do. I've made it multiple choice so you can effectively vote for your top 3.

Personally I'd like to see Phil Taylor win it. This guy is just a phenomenon. I'm not much into racing, but McCoy clearly has been at the top of his game for a long time. Finally, I put Westwood, as to make it to world #1 is some achievement.

David Haye, Lee Westwood and Amy Williams in that order.

I think Tom might appear in the top three, but agree with Amy and Lee.

David Haye for my first choice, the geezer is class and has made heavyweight boxing worth watching again.

Phil Taylor for number 2 as he's a living legend and needs recognising as one, and Westwood for number 3, even though i don't follow golf and hate watching it, knocking Tiger off his perch and making a Englishman number 1 again is something I'm always happy about.

Small typo there. I think you meant average.

Well, on the strength of his fight against Maccarinelli a few years ago, I'd say he was an above average fighter but an above average fighter in a deeply shit division. If he was that good and the division was that watchable, how does one explain the existence of Haye v Harrison? A points decision over Valuev and a TKO against Ruiz, both varying degrees of shite to below average doesn't cut much ice with me.

Pretty shit list tbh, no-one really stands out. Lee Westwood out of all of them.
