      Question replacing a d3 drive

      Hi all!

      OK, I have just replaced a d3 drive board with a d2c board - all solder points and ribbons are solid but when you put a game in the laser is just going back and forth for a bit then it stops spinning.

      Neogamma says:

      launching game
      init drive...
      dvd err (1208) disc ID
      Do you have a drive connected?

      Any ideas?
