A good die cast or good quality plastic army set? where can i buy

My son has asked for an army set this xmas, is there any good ones you can buy which have die cast cars/tanks etc and good quality soldiers?

ive looked on the net but cannot find anything id like for him.

Diecast are for collectors really in this day and age and cost a bomb.

thanks lads, ive seen most of those and its mainly a good quality army set im after and i am just suprised that theres no deluxe ones available. ive seen the ones in toys r us for about £20 but they will break in no time at all.

if i get him some metal ones i know they will last as we still have a full hotwheels case jam packed with original cars that he has played with for the last 3 years.
