iphone 4 4.1 restore jailbroken phone

hi guys,

just looking for a bit of help...

i have an iphone 4 currently on firmware version 4.1, i have recently jailbroken it using greenpoison.

i have also recently had it unlocked by O2 for free....

im now selling it as i have persuaded my company to buy them, so i need to restore this back to factory setting but it keeps erroring in itunes when i go to restore it.....

i have the 4.1 restore file on my desktop and select shift when pressing restore???

then its start to verify it with apple and then i get an error....

how do i restore this iphone, any ideas... i need to send it out tomorrow as its sold...

restore it the proper way and don't select the custom ipsw, just let itunes grab the official one

Doing that will restore it to 4.2.1 only.

You can only restore to 4.1 if you have saved your SHSH blobs. If you have fire up TinyUbmrella and start TSS server, then restore.

it doesnt work updating via itunes, it asked me to download the itunes 10.1 first and then it downloaded the 4.2.1 firmware...

started to update the iphone and now i have an error message 1013 ???

any ideas its now stuck in DFU mode one with itunes logo and usb lead on the screen,

please can anyone help how i restore this phone

That's not dfu mode your in , that's recovery mode.
