Poll What are you having for Christmas Dinner & boxing day?

Myself as there's just two of us this year.
Normally for the last two years a goose with lovely all spice and ginger and orange rub.
Couldn't justify a £50 quid goose this years so where going with roast beef and a giant breast of turkey, with all the trimmings.
Boxing day will be around the family so anyone's guess probably turkey dippers
Also post your pics here of your lovely spread. !!
Poll will cater for you veggie and vegan weirdos aswell.
I STINK GET OVER IT !

Nut roast with a lemon and parsley filling, roast potatoes & parsnips and either roasted or steamed carrots, brussel sprouts and peas with gravy. Don't think we're doing any kind of starter or dessert as I'd rather gorge myself on the main meal without having to worry about leaving room for anything else.

Turkey and gammon I believe. pretty boring standard christmas dinner. I will probably have pizza on boxing day as I will be up at the reebok, phone up pizza hut 10 minutes before half time nip out to get it at half time and sit in the stand and eat the bugger during the 2nd half. Im looking forward to boxing day now.

I'm out in tenerife visiting my mum for christmas so were going out for our dinner.

Starters - potatoe and watercress soup

Main - turkey with all the trimmings

Desert - chocolate cake (was never a fan of christmas pudding)

Got the waifs and strays over this Xmas. One year we'll do my family, one year hers and one her waifs and strays!

Basically my single mates, and friends from work with no where else to go. Downside is I have to pick them up Xmas morning from various parts of London!

    Anyway,

Pre-nibbles are few frozen starter things, lemon and moza bites baked in a lemon. Crisps and dips.

Starter is a pear and asparagus rocket salad with a bitter vinaigrette and a parmesan crisp.

Main is turkey, roast potatoes, roast parsnips, unsure on whether roast or boiled carrots, courgettes wrapped in bacon with pesto, sprouts, Yorkshire pudding, stuffing and gravy.

Desert just a chocolate log and cream.

    Cheese platter and crackers.

Bottles of absynth, tequilla and apple sours. Numerous beers and soft drinks.

And yes I am cooking the lot! Think I have it sorted ;-)

My mum makes a traditional Christmas turkey dinner, and also an Italian one to cater for all the English and Italian family members, i have a bit of both, washed down with lot's of home made red wine, and sambuca

If duck was the main offering, i'd be off out for dinner YUK

Just me and mum this year, but think we're having smoked salmon to start, roast chicken with all the trimmings, and a chocolate roulade to finish. Yum yum

Turkey for Christmas, then round the mother in laws for Boxing Day. Crab curry, Lobster curry, Chicken Curry, fresh chapati's and rotli's, stuffed paratas. (Guess which one i'm looking forward to most!)
