Have they fixed freezing on Black Ops

Just wondering if any of you guys are still having issues playing back ops on PS3. It kept freezing on me all the time. Originally i thought it was my PS3 so kicked up a stink with blockbuster and they replaced my PS3 under warranty. Only to get home and it freeze again . I know there has been alot of press recently about COD BO freezing.

Just wondering if they have released a patch yet. iv'e done some digging and i am struggling to find an answer

got an xbox m8ty just begrudge paying for live lol use it mainly for kinect and i have friends on both xbox and PS3 but dont want to buy the titles twice, PS3 never had major issues with MW2

I think the way Treyarch have behaved with this game is nothing short of disgraceful. They have effectively released a beta quality product on all systems and charged full price for it, with the attitude of "oh well, we'll fix this later if people complain".

Still has the lock up problems, as of yesterday i had 2 complete freezes within an hour, and had to reboot PS3, total dogshit.

Never had problems on the ps3 for freezing etc.

I disagree, on 360 at least. Although they did release it with a fair few bugs, they have done a brilliant job with their server side fixes and then big downloadable updates. There have been numerous ones on the 360 that have fixed many of the problems and also added plenty of new features.

Within a couple of days of release they patched glitches in maps where as maps in MW2 had glitches for weeks and months after release before anything was fixed, if at all.

Compare that with a company like EA, Fifa 11 has had that many bugs and still has them. In our DF Club games with haven't been able to play a cup game for weeks now, but no word from EA for a fix.

I got a Slim 120GB and it has been fine since the last patch

I've just bought a ps3 and got black ops yesterday. I'm a total beginner with this stuff so no real basis for comparison other than a few hours on mw2 but had no crashing or freezing in the 3 or 4 hours I played last night. It did seem very laggy though but I assume that's my connection more than anything.

i traded mine in because of the freezing issues what damage is it doing to the ps3 having to reboot all the time got battlefield badcompany 2 no problems with that

It's peoples fault for buying it then. If all the cod fanboys didn't cum in their pants at the thought of another shitty COD rehash activision would have to change their ways. Instead of throwing their money at activision why don't they take a step back and wait for the reviews and feedback? But no they act pathetic and que up for hours for a subpar game. Activision are laughing all the way to the bank and that's how it will remain.
