Iphone 4 screen replacement

My brother has broken his gfs iphone 4 screen.

Im just wondering is there a good source for these and how hard are they to change?

Depends weather it's just the glass or is the touchscreen fucked too?

If its just the glass, most independent phone shops (you know the ones, that may or may not unlock phones etc) can replace the glass for about 20 notes.

Aren't the displays optically laminated onto the glass in the 4?

I seem to remember them mooting this point in the initial vids when they released it.

yes they are both 1 piece you have to buy full front glass and lcd and its a bitch to change i heard. unlike 3gs were simple 2 screws. Ebay is prob your best bet to get one. £70-100

well my brother has been quoted 90 pound.

I was hoping to get it done cheaper but looks like he may as well go with 90 pound.

I wonder where they are getting the screens from so that they can make a profit
