Heard a rumour that some ppl were getting that error...

From the verison I d/l, I had no such error on mine or missus Win7 Laptops or my XP work laptop? So I dunno... lol

Tried it the other day works fine on my PC but didn't work on a older PC its a known problem so there will probably be a fix out soon.

Guy's there is an issue with the resolution defaults in a file, cant remember off top of my head but i'll find it and post!

Still can't get a version to work on missus' fkin Sony Ericsson Vivaz tho... despite trying a load of supposedly symbian versions. None install. Oh well, at least she can piss about on the PSP version!

I get this error:

The program can't start because AppUpWrapper.dll is missing from your computer. Try reinstalling the program to fix the problem.

Tried that and it still comes up!

**edit I have the .ll file that is needed but don't know how to load it on to my laptop here

right guy's if your getting a DLL error, move the If the 'msvcr100.dll' to system32

If the application throws up any other error it may be due to your pc's resolution, amend the config.lua ( open with notepad ) to suit

Thanks. I have done that and now it says

"failed to open 'Config.lua"

Now there is a file called Config.lua in the unzipped folder but I don't know what to do with that!

ekkl open Config.Lua with notepad mate and just change the resolution

aye? make sure the file isn't set to read only mate. That's the only thing I can think of which will stop you saving it, oh unless you tried to open it before editing the file

I open the file in notepad and get this

I change the 'Width' to 800 then exit. It asks if I want to save which I do then it says the file has been changed and do I want to 'update archive with file', which I then click 'Yes' and it says "RAR archives not supported". I have also looked at the properties of the file and can't find how to make it a non read only file!

Now I am not too bothered about the game on my laptop here but this is a little challenge now and I am just interested in how to solve it!!

dude, are you trying to change the file directly in the RAR file? you need to extract it somewhere then change it!

That's why it's saying you can't save the changes, when you do that, right click the config file then properties and make sure read only is not ticked

Thanks mate. I copied the file to my desktop, edited it to 800 then saved it. Then I extracted the whole thing to my desktop and there copied the file into the game and saved it. As soon as I done that the cursor/icon for the game changed to a bird. Double clicked on the game and it works! Looks good and plays really well here on my laptop actually! was expecting it to be laggy and stuff but it is working really nice.
