iPhone 4 4.2 Unlock?

Has the unlock been released yet? I read the article here stating it will be released after iOS 4.2 went public but I can't find any sign of it on redmondpie.

Someone I know has just brought one back from Japan and it needs hacktivation, JB and unlock.

Can't find info anywhere saying it can be done.

Redsnow can do 4.2.1 but I havent seen 4.4.2 is that a typo or have i missed summit

I think it is on 4.2, the problem is it isn't activated so I need a hacktivation too. I just read Redsn0w can do untethered on OSX only.

EDIT:
Just seen your post Nibb, so looks like waiting for Greenpois0n or Redsn0w for untethered on Windows is best. I might build a Hackintosh today just for future use. Has anyone heard of the industrial unlock for 4.2/4.2.1? It doesn't have a great deal of coverage which makes me a bit suspicious of it.

Yea nice one perfecto I was one of the idiots who didnt save their shsh blobs. ATM im running the jailbreak on 4.2.1 thethered which suits me atm Tethered meaning if your phone runs out of power you cannot switch it on without rebooting with redsnow no big deal if you never run out of power but worth bearing in mind the redsnow 0.9.7 sounds just what i need
