New Contra: HardCorps Uprising Gameplay Video

Pardon my French, but I frikin' love Contra games. They're always great fun and rock hard. Although will take a lot to Beat Contra III : Alien Wars (Super Probotector to us Brits) which is one of my fave games of all-time, this does look tremendous.




No idea if it's got xbl/psn co-op mode, certainly has local 2 player looking at the video.

Used to love contra 3 on the snes me and my mate played all the time was fucking hard to complete though but managed to do it

Could you list what stuff you've got like this and what they are like? I barely recognise any of the game icons I've seen on your gamercard, I remember you had crazy taxi months before it hit xbla too... have you played that Torchlight game thats due in a couple of weeks on xbla?

Is torchlight anything like the old Baldurs Gate games? It looks similar, I loved those games, the only thing similar that i've found was Arkadian Warriors on xbla about 4 years ago

Torchlight was superb on the PC, can't wait for the new one on PC with online coop, if you loved diablo you'll love torchlight

Just been playing this and it's pretty damn good, a bit easier than your usual contra games, but still a great xbl title. I think at 1200 points it's a touch expensive thb, but I thikn that about most xbl titles. I've tried 2 matches online, both were pretty laggy, so i'll see if I can persuade some friends to play and see how that goes. But overall, a great thumbs-up for any contra or metal slug fans out there.

I'm looking forward to Torchlight myself. Is it like Baldurs Gate? People in previews keep likening it Diablo but I never played Diablo so that means nowt to me.

On topic Contra is also a brilliant game. The arcade version was damn hard

Already played through torchlight on PC mate,it's superb. Not sure i'll bother with 360 version though, was hoping they'd add co-op, but seems it's no different really so no point paying for the same game twice.
