Update your Xbox 360 console to play original Xbox games?

My sons doing my head in wanting to play "The Warriors" which was out on XBox 1 - its listed as being playable on 360 but u need to download a backwards compatibility disk from MS apparently - I looked all night and can only find a link for it here but the page just keeps hanging for me - does anyone have any other ideas where I might find it?

As far as I knew, as long as you had the latest dashboard software you were good to go, anything else I don't know about tho..

no m8 it wasnt the emulator I was after but thanks anyway m8. I have the latest dashboard and when I put the warriors disk in it give me a message saying I need to go to xbox.com to get the patch for it but the link wont work anymore..

Afaik if there's a patch needed/available then it'll download automatically when the game is loaded. I have a few that aren't compatible, I think the visit xbox.com is just a generic message.

i think it needs to be plugged into live for this now. it will be fine on a silver membership as its only the update and sign in the 360 is looking for

Is your hard drive a genuine MS one or a self upgraded one? I seem to remember having a similar problem and it was to do with a missing partition from the original drive not being on my modified WD drive.

yep if its an unofficial one from china you need to fix partition 2 with the new version of hddhackr or use partition fixer on a jtag. Then you need to get the latest xbox1 compat update from xbox live
