I thought I lost some from Gmail last week, but they turned up in my bin. Might wanna chack yours.

They're restoring accounts at the moment so it should be back soon?

Saying that it's definitely made me think I should back mine up - actually though it's not that often I ever go back and search through them!

I back them up by forwarding every email to another Gmail account.

Not foolproof for obvious reasons but does give a little extra security.
