I had all this from selling on autotrader also, I have never bothered since, I found it best to do a classified add on eBay

Right looks like ice I've sold it.
Guy came round, had a good look and fell in love.

It needs MOT which he has kindly taken to get done with the log book etc as I am busy.

Said to call him Monday and he will arrange payment.

With all the scammers about it is good that you have found an "honest" buyer at last. I hope you gave him a bundle of cash to pay for the MOT and to put some fuel in the tank for all this trouble he is going to for you.

    Buhahaha!

I'll be getting in MOT'd in the morning and he will then arrange payment.
I knew the first one to see it would buy it.

    Wait a minute.

This is how your post reads -

Some 'genuine' fella popped round, liked the motor and said he's gonna MOT it. Gave him the keys, the car and the log book and he's 'promised' to pay you on Monday?

You sure about that? He's taken your Car to MOT it, without paying you yet?
    Are you Mad!?

Please tell me I have that wrong...! He's just paying for the MOT yes?
He's names not Dave from Nigeria is it...!?

Of course I never gave it to him.
Genuine buyer, I'm getting MOT in morning and cash after that.

    Looks good so far
