Info not sure where to post this but...save a flash game for offline play...

was not sure where to post BUT im wanting to save a flash game to my pc so i can play it offline, ive checked the usual places such as temp folders and ie content on win 7 but these new flash games seem to be split up, not like the older type where you had it in one file.

    for example

    https://spinpalace.gameassists.co.uk...emo&sEXT2=demo

is what i was wanting to grab a copy of to play on the pc as the missus likes it. but like i mentioned above it seems to be split into many different files.

is there any program that can grab such as this or is there no chance.

    thanks

view the page source then search for the .swf file, then use a download manager to grab it

so for the one you posted, direct link is https://spinpalace.gameassists.co.uk...ay/gamesys.swf

    xxxxxxx says (12:03)
    https://spinpalace.gameassists.co.uk...emo&sEXT2=demo

can i download that so it works locally?

the main swf seems to be https://spinpalace.gameassists.co.uk...ay/gamesys.swf

but it sticks on the loading screen

    xxxxxxxx says (12:04)

is there anyway of finding out what other assets it needs to work?

    zzzzzzzz says (12:06)

there will be a very complex structure of files to make this work

    zzzzzzz says (12:07)

there will be a few swfs
    and external xml files
I have had access to ftp of games that we do
and theres like 4-5 folders of stuff

yeah thats what i had worked out, theres about 5 different temp folders each with small parts of different files needed. one might have the gamesys.swy, then another the skin.swf and the others the xml files etc. considering the way ie works surely the files must be all on the pc albeit fragmented. i tried even clearing all ie content and just loading one to see the structure but again could not get to work.

this is why i was thinking of maybe a program that could extract all the files into one/2 folders.
