    Default RT63 Removal

I've tried to bridge the RT63 points, but I think I've cocked it up. I desoldered one of the points as it had a lot of solder on it, when I put the iron on it with some solder it covered in crap from one side of the iron despite thinking I'd wiped it thoroughly on the sponge.

I'm reluctant to mess around with it too much. Some people talk about removing the RT63 rather than bridging it but I can't find any diagrams showing its whereabouts.

Can anyone point me in the right direction please?

Yes I did thanks mate, I updated my post here - http://www.digital-forums.com/showth...=848212&page=2

In brief, I resolder the wires and flashed xell as opposed to xellous and it worked fine and I've no idea why. Before I take the wires off of the nand, I was wondering whether I should keep xell or flash xellous?

It's only going to be used for watching movies off of my media server and a little bit of gaming every now and again, it won't go anywhere near live ever.

Seems like sound advice to me mate

I think I've done far too much messing around with the board anyway, it's time it went away in it's chasis and never saw the light of day again!

Thanks for your help and advice mate I'll have to make sure I don't leave it so long before doing the next one. I don't think I'll do anymore to be honest, unless my lad wants one for his Mum's house as well :S

    Thanks again
