Help Problem with new update with Jtag

OK I d'loaded Yoostar 2 and burnt to disc. I installed it to hard drive first and then went to try and patch it to run disclessly with NXE2GOD. The problem is that whenever I try to run anything now, including booting to XEXLoader, it wants to apply an update.
Anyone got any suggestions ? Can the update be removed and if so how can I do this with the state my 360 is currently in ?

ur gonna need to hook it upto a pc and use a fatx explorer to remove the update

iso2god and ftp dude - no disks needed (and avoids this situation)

OK I have my 360 HD hooked up to my PC using Xplorer 360 and I can see Partitions 0, 2 and 3, although partition 0 does not seem to have anything in it. Does anyone know where abouts this pesky system update would be lurking ?

Edit : I have also deleted the game installation files as well via the 360 dashboard.

There is no SystemUpdate folder showing on this or any other partition mate. I've been trying to google a solution to this for the last 2 hours with no joy.

    Try this

    1. 1
Go to the Xbox 360 dashboard. If your Xbox 360 is off, turn it on. If you're playing a game on your Xbox 360, click the button in the center of your controller, go to the "Settings" menu, scroll down to "System Settings" and press "A." This will take you from the game to the dashboard and allow you to skip to Step 4.
    2. 2
Scroll up or down to go to the "My Xbox" menu.
    3. 3
Scroll right to go to the "System Settings" menu, and press the "A" button.
    4. 4
Scroll down to go to "Memory," and press the "A" button.
    5. 5
Scroll down to go to "Hard Drive," and press the "A" button.
    6. 6
Scroll down to "Clear System Cache," and press the "A" button.
    7. 7
Select "Yes" and press the "A" button when prompted to confirm that you would like to "perform maintenance on your Xbox 360 storage devices" and continue. Wait for the updates to be removed and go back to the dashboard.

I think the Nand is 64. What's the easiest way to check ? Latest version of freeboot was installed so we could play Kinect so I think that's up to date !

Maybe if I do a full rebuild of my HD using one of the Windows programs out there that will fix the problem. I know I will lose everything but this is doing my nut in !
