autodata who uses it?

just aquired a copy of 3.18 installed it and it lets me select my car etc, but then all the options are greyed out and can't be clicked?

the icon on the desktop says cda3, am i missing some of the other cd's?

try and get a copy of the 3.24 thats the one i use its much better

i only went for 3.18 as i'd read it was pre cracked etc.

3.24 has been working a treat for me on XP and Windows 7 since I got it last year. Easy to get working too but I found on some machines you must burn to disc and then install rather than run from image.

Also found that some machines dont like 3-24 if netframe work aint installed on it

Cheers fellas, I'm sticking an old dell Pentium 4 in the garage, so I can have autodata, vag-com and listen to tunes whilst I'm working out.

I've installed xp pro sp3 on there, that will have netframework already on it right?

Also iv instaled 3.24 on 2 laptops lately and had to format them before i could get 3.24 to run as they had 3.18 on them previous. error code i was getting was loads of 00000000000000
but once i done cleane install it worked first time.

I think you still need .net framework 3.5 but I'm not 100%. I used P4 XP SP3 machines and ran the .net 3.5 installer but didn't watch to see if it installed or not.

Oh bollox its taken me half a day to get everything installed on this old dell base unit. Ive already installed 3.18 and that's all greed out. So it looks like I'm going to have to format it all again:-/

After installing win 7 on everything for a while now Ive been taking for granted how easy it is. Now back with xp its slow, asks me questions so I have to keep checking on it and then all the feckin driver installs!!

Windows has just updated to 3.5 on the updates, still grey tho wondering if should try another version of 3.18 before this 3.24 incase I need to format?

Will be good once all sorted I keep telling myself

Can't you do a system restore to before the time you installed 3.18? Then install 3.24?

I've never had a problem with 3.18, auto installs every time, and putting 3.24 on I just remove 3.18 manually, never had a problem with it not going on.

well i did a full format and reinstalled xp

the main thing is i now have 3.24 working even with the cryptic crack instructions it had.
