Theres so much stuff to do you can't see it all in two days so what I did was bunch together lots of things that are in close proximity.

The Trocadero isn't great tbh, i was looking forward to that and it turned out to be a bit crap. Piccadilly Circus, walking down through Leicester Square (via Covent garden as mentioned) down to Trafalgar is a nice walk with lots of sights to see, then if you want to go down the Mall to Buck Palace its just off there.

Harrods is a nice place to look around, and then round Knightsbridge at the same time and the Science museum is 5-10 mins walk from there, as is Hyde Park (on the opposite side).

The Imax in the science museum is frickin ace! But you will have to pay and queue a bit to as its full of pesky kids trying to learn!

The Trocadero is shit mate, very run down and just feels tired. All there is now is a cinema, very old arcade games, poor sports bar with expensive pool tables. It was wicked as a child as it had Sega World but that has since closed and several floors closed with it.

Ripleys believe it or not is round the corner, I have never been and it looks like a place to take the kids rather than an adult day out.

I'm in london at the mo, what are the vouchers in the Sun for?

We spent the best part of a day in the tower of london, Its 19 quid to get in to that, best offer I could find online was 10% off but it seemed to be slightly more than that when it came to the checkout. If you are going there, check the times of the tours on the official site, the tour given by the beefeater is great and very funny (and quite offensive if you are french or american). Look it up on youtube.
There are also tours around other parts of the tower which arnt as interesting, but worth listening to and theres a sort of re-enactment of part of the history of the towers by some actors every few hours and although its aimed at kids, it is genuinely funny and the acting is actually quite watchable.

Wandering around Trafalgar, Covent garden and the likes is interesting and you will catch some of the street shows which can be very good but they usually revolve around one trick and its very drawn out with waffle, jokes and the like. We saw a guy doing some half decent circus tricks who was likable and funny but another black guy who was quite offensive (in the wrong way) and his big finale was some lame breakdancing and a headspin, with a helmet on. Dont even bother if hes there.
There was also a rather camp duo doing some circus type stuff, they were ok.
Don't be surprised when then lay on the guilt trip by paying a member of the crowd a fiver for assisting them and then imply that you should pay him a fiver for entertaining you, they ALL do it and they get rather pissed off if they dont make a nice haul at the end.

Mite not be the best advice, but paying a fiver for an oyster card seems like a good idea too, mite not be the case if you are only going for a few days though.
