    Help Removing updates from discs

OK a friend of mine has asked me to download him a game for the Wii which will have to be run off disc. I'm not sure what firmware he is on and it's too late to call him. I don't want to give him a disc that could brick his Wii if it has an update on it. I'm sure there is some software that patches the Iso's to remove the update but can't remember what it is. Anyone help ?

I cant remember, but I think the later versions of brickblocker did both region unlocking and removal of updates. Best way to get round it is to load the game with a loader via the HBC though.

I know that but he hasn't got around to getting an external drive yet plus this is a one off thing for me to do for him.
