    Default Semi-Brixk

    Hi all,

I was softmodding my daughters Wii, with Modmii and everything went fine, whilst I was doing this over the weekend, I lent my own Wii to her which I had modded years ago, however when I got my Wii back and went into the Wii settings I now get the following message:

"you tried to access marc:fix/us/eng/index01.html,which is currently unavailable. Please make sure that the web address(URL)is correctly spelled and punctuated, then try reloading the page.-make sure your internet connection is active and check whether other applications that rely on the same connection is working. need help?-open the opera help
-go to operas online support desk"

Looking at the error I think that my daughter has run a game update from a diferent region. So basically I think I'm write in thinking that I need to boot from a new original game which has a higher update to recover from this, is this correct? The homebrew channel and USB loader channels are all there, I just cannot get into the Wii settings.

Has anybody had seen or had this error and managed to recover from it.

    Thank in advance..

PS. My daughters Wii is running like a dream, that ModMii is outstanding bit of software.

running a newer game with an update will do it, I had this issue before, I'm not sure if the gamecube pad trick would sort it too, I've managed to recover from a full brick using that before.

Will try with my Lego Batman as my Wii was only on 3.3E I think, not 4.x or anything.

    Cheers

have tried Lego batman and the game loads but does not prompt for update, any idea on a new game which might prompt for the update? Also could I download a newer game and update from that as long as its a PAL game as console is PAL ... Arrgghhh

    Thanks in advance

only certain games will update, usually first party games, try mario galaxy 2 or wii party.
