Selling Dell Mini 10v 160GB/2GB OS X 10.6.7 & Ubuntu (ubuntu partition not booting)

Here for sale is the Dell mini 10v that has now been through a few pairs of hands.

It's in the same physical condition. The Ubuntu partition won't boot. I will have a look at this to see if I can fix it but I've no experience of Linux operating systems,

It has GarageBand installed. To use it properly you will need to connect to an external display. It functions but you can't see the controls at the bottom & a resolution change doesn't fix this (just changes icon sizes). It cost me £9 from the app store. There's just the one bookmark in safari - DF.

Comes with the carry case as before.

Only right to sell it on here after having such a good deal. I want the same that I paid: £110 delivered, bank transfer only. The earliest I can dispatch it is Friday afternoon.

    Cheers

Have you received this yet mate? It's been six days, arguably three working days, I hoped it would have been delivered by now.

Sorry mate it showed up yesterday all fine, the bag aswell. My only concern is the graphics seem awfully slow? As I'm, I'm opening a 2048 res picture and it loads chunk by chunk?

Did you experience anything like that?

    Cheers!!

No, I didn't use it for many photos mate. In fact I took it on holiday & put photos on there from my ipod and flicking through the album seemed fine. If it is connected to your home network then perhaps it's downloading an update, something like that.

Nice to know it arrived though - I was starting to worry

Me too! Slightly smaller but really useable. The pad was a bit different to what I was used to though

Wait and see how long it takes for him to be irritated by the touchpad... I'm in favour of the mouse now on mine.

Latest driver for Windows 7 makes it a lot more "normal" as does the tweaked kexts for OSX. Still fucking annoying having the buttons as part of the pad tho.

Also might be worth updating drivers for the gfx card too, as mine has no problems opening pictures and plays movies pretty well. Only 1gb RAM in mine too.

I got into the habit of using the "tap to click" and found that a lot better than using the actual buttons. Can't remember who I bought mines from and then sold it to - was on here right enough.

Touch pads are always HOWEVER dextrous you are (marginally better on Macs and others now imitating them) a mouse is the only way to go.
