    Info desparate for remote and power supply

    lost the power supply and remote while moving house and can not get the parts iam that sick i would sell it for £50 even though i paid 300 any help were i can get a remote or power supply power supply is needed most i would think

    The power supply is very likely to be a straightforward regulated DC supply, so all you need to do is find someone else with the same unit (avforums is the best bet) and ask them to tell you the details off the power pack, namely voltage, current, and polarity (ie centre pin positive etc).

    If Comet still stock them, go down and take a look at one yourself, snap a photo of the psu so theres no mixup.

    A universal remote such as a Logitech Harmony will take care of the remote, but you can buy replacements for most products... I think CPC sell a big range of them.

    IN that PDF, it says on the back label it's 12V-30W which (I think) equates to 2.5 AMP. Looks like a standard plug end as well so shouldn't be too difficult to source a clone type one.

    Power supplies are easy to source as are 3rd party remotes, don't give up yet!

    Surely Toshiba can supply replacements?

    cheap and you can wire it in direct or put a plug on it
