Audio dub .mov file.

I have a video recorded from a standard point and shoot digital camera.

It's a .mov file and is just a tad under 1gb in size. What I want to do is strip the audio from it and use a sound editor program to clean it up a bit using say Audacity.

Also the video itself could benefit from being brightened up a tad.

Whats the simplest apps to use to 1) Strip the audio, 2) Put the fixed audio over the video and 3) edit the video to boost the brightness a touch?

I know there are loads of video editing apps about, but ideally just was something simple as this isn't something I'll be doing a lot of. Therefore don't really want to install overkill software and piss about getting cracks and shit.

you could use something like Aneesoft HD video converter to strip the audio to an mp3 file and then use something like pinnacle studio to brighten up the video and re attach your cleaned up audio

an easy way i can think of putting the audio back in place is by muting the original audio after you've got your video into pinnacle studio and adding the cleaned up track that way you can make sure it is in sync the render out to whatever file type you want ( dvd mpg2 etc.. )
