Going To Las Vegas September 2011

As the title, never been before and really looking forward to it.

Anyone here been there before? i am not really a gambler but will have a flutter on the machines. Also want to visit the firing range there, as i have always had a dream of letting off a few rounds with a gun for some reason.

Any comments advice on best places to eat etc... will be appreciated, as i know there are a load of places there.

I got back from Vegas a week ago an must say it live up to everything you will have heard about it.

The gun store is a must, I fired a load of guns and it was superb, then highlight of the trip I'd say. There's no shortage of Casino's, and if you gamble at the slot machines at the bars then generally your drinks are free too I throwing in $5 every now and then but lasted ages and I walk out pretty full of tequila

The rides on the stratosphere are great, and the bar again, $25 for unlimited cocktails between 7 and 10, killer!

Sightseeing, grand canyon skywalk a must, get there early though as last bus is about 6pm from the visitor center. Valley of fire is really nice and worth a visit.

Be sure to watch the bellagio fountains at night, grab an Eiffel tower $14 drink from Paris, and if you make it to the cheesecake factory at caesar's palace then do yourself a favour and get the avocado rolls.

Pen & Teller at the rio were great, but not as good as I'd hoped. The voodoo lounge bar at the top is excellent. There's an enormous world buffet there too, lots of crap food but the freshly cooked stuff was nice.

Ooh and go see big Elvis (search YouTube), think he was at o'shea's between 15:00 and 19:00 daily.
