Tech What E-Reader do you use?

What e-reader are you using at the moment?

Mine is currently the Kindle, very much liking the downloads via amazon direct to my e-reader.

    Your thoughts folks

Still using the Sony PR-505. I've no desire to buy a Kindle yet, not until I have to.

Sony 505 here too, I weakened and bought a Kindle last year and sold it on in here, the new Sony readers are not so good but the 505 is still boss!

Actually I should have voted iPad too, I use KoBo and Vimio on that.

The 505 may well have but the newer models have touch screens and are not considered to be very good. When I had my Kindle it looked pretty much exactly like my 505.

I've just got an iPad2 and am using the iBooks ereader, read 1 book so far and found it really good. It does have a downside though can't use it outside due to the glossy screen.

We have a sony PRS 600, drove freaking miles to San Diego back in 2009 not long after they had come out to find a silver one and the card company blocked my card when I tried to buy it. fortunatly I had another card to pay for that nights hotel room up in LA and the reader.

I'm just using my iPhone and iBooks. I find it works really well at night, when I do nearly all of my reading, as its backlit and therefore I don't need a light on, which disturbs my partner. I was really close to getting a kindle because of daytime reading, but I can't read it at night without getting one of the cases with a light on it, which for the way I read isn't great, I'd break it the first night Not really looked into any of the other ebook readers. The iPad is too big, that I do know!

Grab yourself KoBo, I use it on the iPad and it has a great nighttime mode which is black background and white text, much easier on the eyes and very little light spillage.

I used to have a kindle but wasn't using it as much as I should. I now use the kindle app on my 5" streak (android) and I'm reading much much more as it's always with me. I find the screen the perfect trade off between screen size and portability, plus backlit. A non backlit device is pretty much useless to me and I never wanted to use a case. I read during my break at work for an hour every night and at bed time. I tended not to bother with the kindle, no idea why it's just how it was.

My Kindle is the best thing I have bought for Holidays. Not just because you can actually read outside but also for the free 3G Internet browser. I can even download books from my Dropbox as well. Quality !

I'm using Kindle 3 and Ipad, and iphone when find myself sat somewhere waiting(love the ibook bookmark sync). Both fairly recently acquired. Resparked my interest in reading. Kindle gets hammered every day now. Whereas the ipad gets used when I want the lights off. But I much prefer reading on Kindle as it is so much easier on my eyes.
