Playing NTSC Games on PAL Wii

Just wanted to know if anyone else has had the same problem.

Wii modded with Wiikey 2 on 4.3e. Softmodded and all truncha bugs have been set back. All IOS's updated via Pimp My Wii Latest.

Customer wants to play some rare NTSC games that he cant get on PAL, Brought me The $1000000 Pyramid original Import and it sees the disc in the channel but when you start it, it just hangs on a black screen. Even tried Neogamma R9 Beta 50 and still no go.

All region settings are set to region free in the Modchip config, Priiloader and Neogamma.

Really stumped on this one and I feel sorry for the kid as hes disabled and hes paid some good money on this wii just to play the imports... (Softmod has been done by me as a favor as original guy messed it up and Modchip hasnt been done by me, but checked works fine)

Compatability is high, but it isnt 100%. I could never get "The Amazing Race" to work.
Have you tried any others ?

Kudos on trying to get the disabled kids system up and running!!

tronads, yes Super Smash Bros works but thats the only other ntsc game I have. All mine are pal. Ive downloaded it for him and just region frii'd it and brick blocked it, so gonna test that when the kids are at school.

Using CFG USB-Loader and never had any NTSC games not work on my PAL machine.

You obviously haven't tried "The Amazing Race" then...my kids were gutted it wouldnt work (being big fans of the show), and I made the fatal mistake of telling them I had the game before I tested it :-(

try booting the game with neogamma, the disk has an update which I would guess is being blocked from running by your softmod set up.

Already tried doing it with neogamma, Ended up region changing it for him as he wanted to play them that bad. Told him to try the pal games and if they dont work try and pick up a cheap 2nd hand wii. Or I can put it back for him.
