    Wii USB HDD question

    Hey guys.

Just about to softmod a Wii. Quick question. I have a Western Digital My Passport 1TB portable HDD. Is it possible to format the HDD into two separate partitions. One WBFS and the other that can be used to backup some of my MacBook Pro? I would like to get some additional use out of the HDD if possible.

    Thanks.

No need for WBFS anymore, one of the loaders can read NTFS.

    Hey guys.

I have finished softmodding my Wii. Everything is working fine but I have a bit of a problem.

I have partitioned my HDD into two parts. One NTFS and the other FAT32. As mentioned above, I have heard that you can play WBFS images if you have a WBFS folder in the root of either NTFS/FAT partition.

I have done this but in both CFGUSB Loader and USB Loader GX no games are showing up!

I tried it with a regular WBFS partition and then the WBFS images work fine.

What was the problem stopping the loaders from picking them up?

i had a similar problem , i forgot to make the ntfs partition active after partitioning, i now use wbfs partition as it slims down the games so more room for more games
