As I understand it, it's common practice for brand name food product manufacturers to also produce the supermarket own brands.
I thought it would be interesting to see if anyone had any information on such practices and hopefully if we could put together a list.
I remember from a decade or so ago a TV programme that stated that M&S Jaffa Cakes were in fact manufactured by McVities and were the same product.
The only one I know for sure which I doubt many DF'ers have ever bought is Asda's meat free mixes (burger, sausage, nut roast etc.) which are all produced by Granose and identical to their own products except for packaging.
So, anyone aware of any more?
